I live in Port Royal, Nova Scotia, at the base of North Mountain with a view of the Queen Anne Marsh, the Annapolis River and across the river beyond to South Mountain. It is a place of changing weather and dynamic skies; it is Mi’kma’ki,the land of the Mi’kmaq.

My late husband, artist Richard Rudnicki, and I moved here in April of 2018. Since then, my work has been influenced by this place, the active arts community, and environmental activism of the residents, who care deeply for the Earth.

With my blog, I will document and discuss my activities on this land and my resulting studio work. I will also, on occasion, step back in time to present past influential work and projects.
