Over the past year, I have been intrigued by the idea of my symbols, developed over the past decade, emerging from the painted surface and entering physical space. Perhaps not quite removed from the origin–still having some qualities of its former painted ‘life’, but ocupying (perhaps intruding?) into a 3D world. I will experiment with 3 unique representations of lifeforms as maquettes; eventually creating imposing figures in a landscape.
